Brad D. Brian, the first elected chair of Munger, Tolles & Olson, is recognized by both Chambers USA and Chambers Global as one of the top trial lawyers globally. A fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers and the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, Brian represents large companies in in their most important matters.
Brian’s practice spans a wide range of industries and includes a who’s who roster of clients, such as PG&E, MGM Resorts, Southern California Edison, Hawaiian Electric Industries, Inc., Activision, Jacobs Engineering, Bechtel, Transocean, Sotera Health, Fortress Investment Group, the Kobe Bryant Estate and some of the largest law firms in the country. Brian is also regularly called upon to handle the most important public interest cases in California. Most recently, he successfully led the effort challenging the constitutionality of the pre-arraignment cash bail system in Los Angeles County.
