In 2018, Selina Meere moved from New York City where she had an established career as a book publishing executive to Los Angeles where she had to form a professional network and establish herself within the entertainment industry. While working for two years to launch and build the brand for an award-winning women-founded and run fintech, she continued to make connections in the media industry.
When Meere met Jennifer Freed, the founder and CEO of Trevanna Tracks – a SaaS platform in which media companies track, execute and report on the business activities required to use music in productions they forged an instant connection at a time when the company needed a new managing director. A non-tech leader, but one who relies on instincts, curiosity, a level head and a positive outlook, Meere was able to prove that she could help forge Trevanna Tracks to a new level.
