George Pino, the chief executive officer of Commercial Brokers Int., has been a leader in the commercial real estate community since the very beginning of his career. He is also known for mentoring and training individuals that want to have a successful career path in the industry. At any given time he is mentoring three to five mentees and guiding them on their respective paths to success. He is also a co-founder of mentorwire.org, which assists young women from low to moderate income communities with real estate industry mentors.
In addition, every two weeks Pino and his wife go to DTLA and cook for the St. Francis Center in conjunction with The Order of Malta. They feed approximately 250 homeless people each time and Pino runs the kitchen and oversees the volunteers. Additionally, Pino also volunteers for the Alexandria House, a half-way shelter for battered women and their children.
