TGR Foundation recently announced the appointment of Christina Friend as its chief development officer. Friend, an energetic leader in philanthropy and fundraising, will oversee the organization’s development department, driving innovation and growth through new partnerships and fundraising efforts. Friend will focus on raising funds to support TGR Foundation’s education programs that provide opportunities to students from underresourced communities nationwide, including the new Career-connected Learning Program and expansion of the TGR Learning Lab to Philadelphia and Los Angeles. She joins the Foundation with a shared passion for its mission to empower students to pursue their passions through education. With more than 20 years of experience in education, development and philanthropy, Friend has held several executive-level positions at national organizations including St. Jude Children’s Hospital, National 4-H Council and Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
