David Zins is a skilled litigator with expertise in complex wage-and-hour and other employment matters. Among Zins’ recent successes was his work defeating certification, in February 2023, of a putative class claim alleging underpayment of meal and rest period premiums by persuading the court that determining whether an employee was owed a premium to begin with was not subject to common proof. He also defeated certification of a kitchen-sink wage-and-hour class action in its entirety in February 2022 on behalf of a leading manufacturer and distributor of nutritional supplements and home care products.
