McMillan leads a five-person team that has closed 1,550 transactions worth more than $6 billion, nearly all of them in Los Angeles County. In 2022, the team closed 62 transactions, including the sale of 29.3 acres of land, and the lease or sale of more than 5.5 million square feet of buildings. The largest transaction was a 411,034-square-foot lease in Santa Fe Springs. McMillan joined Newmark in 2016 after 24 years at another global commercial real estate firm. Since then, he’s consistently been a top-five industrial broker for the firm. A UC Santa Barbara graduate, he’s involved in a number of groups, including NAIOP and SIOR.
