Co-Chief Executive, Rexford Industrial

Frankel serves as co-chief executive of Brentwood-based Rexford Industrial Realty Inc. with Howard Schwimmer. Last year, Rexford acquired 61 properties for $2.4 billion. That’s up from 2021, when the company purchased 53 properties for $1.9 billion. Frankel has been on the board and served as a co-chief executive officer since 2013. He was previously the chief financial officer of Rexford Industrial Realty and Management Inc. and managing partner of Rexford Industrial and Rexford Sponsor. Prior to Rexford, Frankel served at C3, a private equity subsidiary of Comcast Corp. He has also worked with L.E.K. Consulting and Melchers and Co.
