Founder and Executive Chair, Caruso

Caruso established Caruso Affiliated in 1987. His company has achieved a compounded annual growth rate of nearly 20% since its inception and is behind some of the most imaginative retail destinations in the country, including The Grove, Palisades Village and The Americana at Brand. It also counts the Rosewood Miramar Beach in Montecito in its portfolio. A former real estate lawyer, Caruso and his wife, Tina, founded the Caruso Family Foundation in 1991, which helps underserved children and their families break the cycle of poverty. Caruso recently served as chair of the board of trustees at USC, among other affiliations. He ran for mayor last year, losing to Karen Bass.
