Claire Hall focuses her practice on structured finance and derivatives. Hall represents issuers, underwriters and investors across a broad range of domestic and cross-border structured, warehouse and asset-backed finance transactions covering both public deals and private placements. In recent years, Hall’s ABS experience has focused on esoteric transactions such as solar, trade receivables, PACE, management fee cashflows, property developer fees, cashflows from multifamily housing assets and music royalties backed securitizations.
Hall has significant experience representing financial institutions, hedge funds, asset managers, dealers and end users in a variety of derivatives transactions. She advises on regulatory issues affecting derivatives under Dodd-Frank and EMIR. Hall also advises on matters related to the California cap and trade scheme. Hall is currently a co-chair of DLA Piper’s LIBOR Transition Practice and co-head of the Derivatives Group. She is admitted to practice in New York, California and England and Wales.
