Lisa Helfend Meyer is a co-founder and senior partner at Meyer, Olson, Lowy & Meyers, LLP, a boutique family law firm. Meyer has been certified as a Specialist in Family Law by the Board of Legal Specialization of the State Bar of California since 1989. Founded in 2000 entirely by female partners, with the goal of representing clients in high conflict and complex divorces and custody cases, the firm now includes approximately 25 attorneys, who have expertise in all aspects of family law and are adept at both mediating and litigating cases.
For over four decades, Meyer has been a commanding force within the legal profession and specifically the family law community, a successful businesswoman, and a passionate advocate for the rights of children and parents. Meyer recently litigated a highly publicized case of a woman seeking a domestic violence restraining order against a former Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher.
