Much of Dr. Barry Steinmetz’s time at Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital has been a balance with leading the pediatric gastroenterology program and serving his patients with Pediatric Gastroenterology Associates of Sothern California. Under his leadership, fellow pediatric specialists’ needs were implemented in the design, works flows and processes for a new 80,000 square foot outpatient clinic that transformed specialized outpatient pediatric care for MCWH. In conjunction, he expanded the care his practice provides with new clinics and providers.
