Dr. Mikayel Grigoryan is a vascular and interventional neurologist. He received his MD degree from Yerevan State Medical University in 1998, after which he moved to United States to pursue a postdoctoral research fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco. Subsequently, he completed his Neurology residency training, a Vascular Neurology fellowship at Stanford University, and 2-year ACGME-accredited Endovascular Surgical Neuroradiology fellowship at University of Minnesota. Dr. Grigoryan utilizes cutting-edge technology to remove life-threatening clots from brain vessels (restoring blood flow to the brain) and to treat intracranial aneurysms (major cause of bleeding in the brain), thus dramatically improving the quality of life for his stroke patients.
