Dr. Timothy Cloughesy is a nationally renowned neurologist and a clinical professor of neurology at David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He directs the UCLA Health Neuro-Oncology Program. Pharmaceutical companies work closely with Dr. Cloughesy and his team to develop drug therapies that target specific mutations and fulfill the promise of personalized medicine. The UCLA Neuro-Oncology Program under Dr. Cloughesy’s leadership offers trials of drugs that target various mutations of the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), the most common glioblastoma abnormality. Dr. Cloughesy has published more than 400 articles in peer review journals.
