Joo Cha Webb litigates a variety of claims in the areas of environmental toxic tort, and commercial litigation. Webb’s environmental practice focuses on the defense of energy companies, manufacturers, distributors, and industrial users of a variety of consumer and industrial products against claims involving per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), benzene, organic solvents, silica, aluminum, lead, formaldehyde, and various other substances.
Currently, Webb’s practice is focused on defending claims involving PFAS, a class of chemicals that has gained nationwide attention in recent years. She serves as one of the lead counsel for Arkema Inc., who has been sued in a number of lawsuits involving alleged PFAS exposures. As one of Arkema’s lead counsel, Webb is responsible for day-to-day management of over two dozen other matters involving PFAS venued in the state of New Jersey. Webb is instrumental in developing and implementing Arkema’s defenses in all matters involving alleged PFAS exposures.
