Vienna Gonzales is project manager for the construction of Sankofa Park, the centerpiece of the 1.3-mile outdoor cultural museum, Destination Crenshaw. Celebrating the history and culture of Black Los Angeles, Destination Crenshaw will stand as a cultural hub for years to come and a beautiful visual from LA Metro’s K Line.
Sankofa Park is a unique project with a goal to leverage construction spending to invest in the economic development of the local community. Simply put, Gonzales’ role is a unique one in which she is paving the way for a better future. Born and raised in Southeast LA, the work is a meaningful application of her talents and background. Gonzales takes to heart that quality execution should be measured by more than just budgets, schedule milestones and other contractual commitments. Under her leadership, the project team is thriving.
