Debra Pole, an award-winning trial attorney, has extensive jury trial experience in federal and state courts involving mass tort litigation, class actions, and complex litigation. She is a partner in Sidley’s Los Angeles Litigation Group and a former member of the firm’s Executive Committee. She trains, supervises, and manages many lawyers and paraprofessionals in the Products Liability and Mass Torts practice in Los Angeles and is internationally recognized as a leader in products liability. She is perhaps best known for supervising numerous defense law firms, both domestically and internationally, involved in complex pharmaceutical and medical device litigation.
Throughout her career, Pole has played a major role in many high profile trials and registered important victories. A recent example is her work serving as co-lead partner representing Johnson & Johnson in Kleiner v. Rite Aid Corporation, for which a unanimous defense verdict was achieved.
