The Century City-based organization announced January 19th that it has signed a long-term, anchor-tenant lease to relocate to Century City Center, the 37-story tower designed by Johnson Fain for Chicago-based JMB Financial Advisors. CAA will have its own entrance, lobby and parking area, all with easy access to the Century City/Constellation metro station currently slated to open in 2025.
“We’re designing a home for the future here in Los Angeles that captures the imagination, inspiration and creativity that’s fundamental to the work we do and that continues to drive our success for clients,” CAA co-chairman Richard Lovett said in a statement.”
The news complements CAA’s announcement in September 2021 that it will acquire fellow Century City-based talent agency ICM Partners. That deal was originally planned by the end of 2021 but was pushed in January to the second quarter of 2022 following scrutiny by the Justice Department over its impact on the entertainment industry. If the merger goes through, both agencies will operate out of the same building.
