Century Park Capital Partners, a Los Angeles-based private equity firm, bought a slice of Americana Thursday by acquiring Eckler Enterprises Inc., a supplier of auto parts for classic Corvettes, Chevys and Camaros.

The purchase price for Eckler's, based in Titusville, Fla., wasn't disclosed, though Century Park typically takes stakes of between $10 million to $50 million, usually to provide liquidity to owners.

Marty Jelenko, a Century Park managing partner, said he believes Eckler's catalog and online retail store will get a boost from the recent launch of a new design for the Ford Mustang as well as new concept cars like the Dodge Charger and Chevy Camaro.
