, an L.A.-based casual apparel company, reported a fourth quarter loss of $29.1 million ($1.01 per diluted share), compared with net income of $427,000 (2 cents) for the like period a year earlier. Revenue for the quarter ended Dec. 31 fell to $36.7 million from $67 million in the comparable period of the prior year.


The company said the most recent fourth quarter's results included a charge of $22.8 million related to a foreign currency adjustment.


The company said it projects 2005 sales in the range of $240 million to $250 million and net income between $9 million and $12 million.


-Tag-It Pacific, Inc. , an L.A.-based apparel company, reported a fourth-quarter net loss of $17.4 million (96 cents per diluted share), compared with a loss of $6 million (52 cents) for the like period a year earlier. Revenue for the quarter rose 1 percent to $13 million.


- CytRx Corp. , an L.A.-based biopharmaceutical company, reported a fourth-quarter net loss of $5.8 million (15 cents per diluted share), compared with a loss of $3.1 million (9 cents) for the like period a year earlier. Revenue for the quarter rose to $100,000 from $90,000 in the comparable period of the prior year.
