Belkin unveils wireless charging pad for iPhone 8 and iPhone X, The Africa Channel sets launch of subscription VOD service and SpaceX assessing if any damage was done to its Florida launch facility.
Belkin on Tuesday unveiled its new wireless charging pad for iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X, according to a press release. The Boostup Wireless Charging Pad provides wireless charging using Qi technology and is able to charge at levels up to 7.5 watts for compatible devices.
The Africa Channel will launch its new streaming video service, Demand Africa, on Oct. 1, reports Variety. Demand Africa will stream more than 300 hours of original and acquired lifestyle content and in the following months and will add several hundred additional hours of scripted TV series and movies, targeting 500-plus hours by the end of the first quarter of 2018.
Initial reports found minimal damage at SpaceX facilities in Cape Canaveral, Fla. but a full assessment has not been done, reports the Orlando Sentinel. A spokesman said there as “far less” damage seen than from Hurricane Matthew last year.
