CBRE Group Inc. on Monday said that it has acquired London real estate investment firm Franc Warwick Chartered Surveyors, which expands the Los Angeles real estate service company’s presence in the United Kingdom.

Franc Warwick specializes in capital market transactions, corporate acquisitions and sales, shopping centers, hotels, industrial and retail, especially in central London.

The Franc Warwick team will be integrated into CBRE’s Capital Markets group, with co-founder Franco Sidoli becoming an executive director. The team will focus on investment transactions, CBRE said.

The terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Shares closed down 42 cents, or 2 percent, to $17.28 on the New York Stock Exchange.
