Howard I. Camhi is a Partner in Michelman & Robinson’s Los Angeles office. A bankruptcy law veteran, Howard represents an impressive roster of commercial clients in complex bankruptcy, corporate restructuring (both in and out of court), distressed asset, acquisition and disposition, and related litigation matters. As can be imagined, he has been particularly busy in the wake of COVID-19.

In terms of his corporate bankruptcy expertise, Howard works on behalf of debtors, creditors’ committees, trustees, and both secured and unsecured creditors in bankruptcy courts nationwide. In so doing, he has recovered many millions of dollars for individuals, businesses, and institutions over the years. Howard is also renowned for his efforts in state and federal receiverships and assignments for the benefit of creditors and has been appointed as a Federal Equity Receiver in matters brought by the Federal Trade Commission and Consumer Finance Protection Bureau. Outside his bankruptcy and receivership work, Howard handles cases involving secured transactions in real and personal property as well.
