THE LATEST: Last year, Medina and U.S. Bank surprised several students from the music instruction nonprofit Harmony Project with new instruments and a chance to meet country music artists and songwriters, including Florida Georgia Line with Corey Crowder, Ernest K., Hardy, RaeLynn and Canaan Smith.
BACKGROUND: Medina leads the Southern California market president for U.S. Bank, the fifth largest commercial bank in the United States. He has more than 35 years of experience in banking and financial services in California. Medina joined U.S. Bank from Bank of America, where he was chief operating officer for its business banking division.
WORTH NOTING: Medina serves as a board member for the Pacific Coast Banking School, the California Bankers Association, the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce and the Central City Association of Los Angeles. He is chairman emeritus of the Fresno Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
