Architect Rob Jernigan is co-regional managing principal for Gensler’s Southwest Region, directing the architecture firm’s offices in Los Angeles, San Diego, Newport Beach, Phoenix, Las Vegas and Denver. The 53-year-old architecture firm has built high-profile projects around the world, including Shanghai Tower in Shanghai; One Microsoft Place in Dublin; the Incheon International Airport in Korea; and the Nvidia headquarters in Silicon Valley. Jernigan’s work in Los Angeles includes the newly opened Banc of California Stadium in downtown Los Angeles; the Ritz-Carlton Hotel & Residences and JW Marriott at L.A. Live; The Broad Museum, Metropolis; and ICON at Sunset Bronson Studios in Hollywood. He received the Presidential Citation from the AIA California Council for “changing the face of architecture in Los Angeles,” and the Crystal Eagle Award for civic leadership from Coro Southern California.
