LA84 Foundation

Renata Simril is chief executive and president of the LA84 Foundation, a leader in support of youth sports programs and public education. She serves on the boards of the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce, United Way of Greater Los Angeles, Los Angeles Sports and Entertainment Commission, Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation and Loyola Marymount University. She was previously senior vice president and chief of staff to the publisher of the Los Angeles Times, where she oversaw staff operations and special projects. She also worked for three seasons with the Los Angeles Dodgers as senior vice president of external affairs and spent more than a decade in real estate development with Jones Lang LaSalle Inc., Forest City Development and LCOR Inc. She was deputy mayor for economic development and housing under Los Angeles Mayor James Hahn.
