Congressional Medal of Honor Foundation Gives Highest Honor to Edward Roski Jr.

Edward P. Roski Jr., president and chairman of City of Industry-based Majestic Realty Co., was awarded the Circle of Honor Award from the Congressional Medal of Honor Foundation on Saturday in Los Angeles.

Roski initiated the Majestic Realty Foundation in 2002 as part of his philanthropy work. The organization’s community outreach focuses on youth, family, education, health and violence prevention. Roski also founded the Land of the Free Foundation in 2007, which has contributed more than $10 million to those who serve in the military and their families.

The award is the highest honor given by the foundation, which consists exclusively of recipients of the Congressional Medal of Honor for military valor. Roski served in the Marines.

Roski, who also co-owns the Los Angeles Kings, the Los Angeles Lakers and Staples Center, ranked No. 11 on the Business Journal’s 2017 list of wealthiest Angelenos with a net worth of $4.6 billion.
