Rent Loan Service Domuso Raises $3.1 Million

Domuso, a property management system and payment portal that lets tenants pay late rent over time, has raised $3.1 million in funding, reports TechCrunch. Tenants using the platform can request an installment loan to cover a missed month of rent, paid back over six or 12 months.

Snapchat Users Spending More Time in App

Even though Snapchat’s total user base is growing much slower than people expected, the amount of time its users spend using the app is growing at a nice clip despite the Instagram onslaught, reports Recode. Snap users spent a total of 32.8 minutes per day with the app, almost a 20 percent jump in just six months.

Mitu Sells Two Shows to Facebook

Mitu sold two shows to Facebook’s Watch channel, “Mom’s Movie Reviews” and “What’s Good in Your Hood,” reports Engagdet. “Mom’s Movie Reviews” is a weekly review of movie releases by a Latina mom and her son, and “What’s Good In Your Hood” follows comedian Andrew Santiago’s visits to local American neighborhoods to sample their cuisine, and highlight the work being done by community members.
