Richard Lovett

President, Creative Artists Agency

Richard Lovett is president of Creative Artists Agency, responsible for directing the agency’s overall business, including forging areas that create more opportunities and resources for clients and the company. An advocate for improved educational programs, he previously taught a weekly class at Venice High School, one of CAA’s partner schools, and spearheaded the launch of “School Day,” an annual fundraising event benefitting education-based organizations and involving the agency’s L.A.; New York; and Nashville, Tenn., offices. Lovett has been honored for his activism, including the Shoah Foundation’s Ambassador for Humanity Award. Lovett began his career in the mailroom of CAA before rising through the ranks from agent trainee to agent in the motion picture department. He was appointed president in October 1995.
