Musk Reveals Multistoried Tunnel System Concept in Video

Speaking at the TED conference in Vancouver, Canada, Elon Musk revealed on Friday a conceptual video of a multistoried tunnel system under the city of Los Angeles, which he aims to build with his startup Boring Co., reports the Business Journal. The video shows a Tesla S sedan lowered from the street on a skate, which then whisks the vehicle through a network of tunnels until it is delivered to its final destination where it is then raised back to street level.

Virgin Galactic’s Richard Branson Noncommittal on SpaceShipTwo Launch Dates

Virgin Galactic founder Richard Branson said he remained optimistic that the company’s SpaceShipTwo suborbital vehicle will carry him and other customers into space, but declined to give a specific schedule about when those flights might begin, reports Space News. Branson said the development of SpaceShipTwo, which has suffered years of delays and a fatal test flight accident in 2014, was harder than he originally imagined.
