Juwai.com, a Chinese real estate website focusing on marketing overseas properties to Chinese buyers, said it has set up operations in Los Angeles. Juwai CEO Charles Pittar cited Los Angeles an ideal hub city, as it was the single most-searched city in North America by Chinese property buyers.

SoCalTech.com reported Tuesday that Matthew Moore, the former executive vice president of sales and marketing of Move Inc., would serve as Juwai’s president of the Americas. He will lead the firm’s North American team in sales, marketing, and industry relations.

Moore joined Move Inc. back when it was Homestore, and was there until 2012. His other credentials include being an investor in such real estate startups as Retsly, RealScout and GoFirstFive.
