Karen Gutierrez-Mac Nair will be chief executive of the Arcadia Chamber of Commerce effective Monday, according to an announcement today by the chamber.

She replaces Scott Hettrick, appointed to its board of directors in 2007 and to chief executive in March 2011. Hettrick will relocate to Omaha, Neb., with his wife to live near their first grandchild.

“Scott has done such a wonderful job over the past five years, and I want to keep the focus of moving our community and Chamber forward to spur the economic growth of this great city,” said Mac Nair.

In her prior post as executive director of the Santa Anita Family YMCA, Mac Nair oversaw a $1 million budget and 100 employees.
