Driving Expansion: ParkMe, a Santa Monica parking services firm, has been acquired by Inrix Inc., a Kirkland, Wash., provider of real-time traffic information and driving service. Inrix said the acquisition will help grow its range of offerings. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Testing Market: Adept Consumer Testing, a Beverly Hills firm that provides consumer research services, announced that it would merge with industry peer Jackson Associates Research Inc. of Atlanta. The new L.A. division will be named Jackson Adept Research, while the merged entity will be headquartered in Atlanta, where its facilities will continue to operate as Jackson Associates. The deal also includes Adept’s Encino outpost.
Growing Presence: ADP, a Roseland, N.J., payroll processing company, has opened a 325-person Innovation Center in Pasadena. The 53,000-square-foot outpost, at 55 S. Lake Ave., will be used to develop software for managing tax, employment and payroll corporate compliance.
Residential Sale: Developer 105LR has sold a Pasadena apartment property for $26.3 million to a partnership controlled by Los Angeles investors Thomas and May Ling Yu. The 45,813-square-foot J. Grant multifamily building, at 119 S. Robles Ave., was completed in July and was originally conceived as a condo project.
Coming Together: Jurgen Kurz, chief executive of Glendale digital media storage company Nero, has raised $2.1 million in equity investment from undisclosed investors for his next venture, Stashimi. Stashimi, which was scheduled to launch Sept. 21, will aggregate music and social media postings by artists across the Web into on platform for fans to follow.

New Digs: Broadvoice, a telecommunications services provider, is leaving Winnetka for a new space in Northridge. The company, which employs about 150 people, purchased a 49,000-square-foot facility at 9221 Corbin Ave., according to CoStar Group Inc., for $8 million in June.
Apartments Purchased: LA Housing Solutions has acquired a Sherman Oaks multifamily building for $22.7 million from Garden Homes. This is the first sale of 71-unit property, at 5235 Kester Ave., since it was built in 1988. The building holds a mix of two- and three-bedroom units, and has been mapped out for condominiums.
Payroll Pickup: Hermosa Beach’s Marlin Equity Partners has announced the completion of its acquisition of Denmark’s Bluegarden Holdings. Bluegarden provides payroll and human resources across the Scandinavian region. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
