How did you come to own a sports team?

Upon retirement from investment banking, I wanted to act on my love for hockey. I utilized my networks to broaden into hockey relationships.

Is it an investment or more of a hobby?

Neither ... it’s a passion.

Is it a good investment?

I didn’t invest for economic reasons, but it has turned out to be a very good investment.

Other than winning, what’s the best thing about owning part of a sports team?

Being part of a team and winning.

What’s the worst thing (besides losing)?

Other than losing, nothing.

How many games a season do you attend?

Probably attend about 12-15 games a year; watch all of them on TV.

What was your favorite team when you were growing up?

All the L.A. teams – Lakers, Rams and Dodgers.  Actually didn’t become a Kings fan until I was in my 20s.
