The director of the film “Midnight Rider” pleaded guilty on Monday to involuntary manslaughter and criminal trespassing in last year’s death of a camera assistant on the Georgia set of the Gregg Allman biopic.

A train ran into 27-year-old Sarah Jones and other members of the “Midnight Rider” crew while they were shooting a scene on train tracks in February 2014 in Brunswick, Ga. Several crew members were injured.

Director Randall Miller will serve up to two years in jail in Wayne County, Ga., and eight years of probation, during which he cannot supervise film crews. He will also pay a $25,000 fine.

As part of the deal, the prosecution is waiving charges against his wife, Jody Savin, a producer on the film. Under a plea agreement, the film’s executive producer, Jay Sedrish, will get 10 years of probation and pay a $10,000 fine.
