Not yet, but I’ve been eyeing the Philips Hue Connected Bulb starter pack, which allows you to change the lighting in your rooms to a desired color or brightness from your smartphone. I believe in the not-too-distant future this will be pretty standard.

I’ve recently purchased two smart-home products to help manage some aspects of our home functions: Nest to manage temperature-energy consumption and a Big Ass Fan with smart features that integrates with Nest.

I currently don’t have any smart-home products. However, the Nest in-home thermostat and its CO2 and smoke detector are on my list. My house has a lot of windows and is weather sensitive so being able to control the temperature from my iPhone would be beneficial.
