Social media has been inundated with hype over Walt Disney Co.’s “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” and brand campaigns with partners, including Verizon and Google, CNBC reports. Some fans have even had the opportunity to win free tickets through a Twitter promotion. There have been 2.8 million tweets using the #StarWars hashtag within the past month, according to online marketing firm Izea.
