TaskUs: Santa Monica startup TaskUs, which provides outsourced customer support to venture-backed startups, has opened a sales and customer service office in Melbourne, Australia. The office opening is partly due to a deal to support online lending company Nimble of Australia.

Evite: Online event invitation company Evite of West Hollywood has re-launched its app and website. The company’s website is now mobile optimized, letting users create and view party invitations from their mobile devices.


Saatchi Art:
Online art seller Saatchi Art of Santa Monica has added a couple of celebrities to its guest curation series. Actors Dylan McDermott and Jamie Lee Curtis have curated online photography exhibitions drawn from Saatchi’s inventory of artwork.

Skechers: Shoe maker Skechers of Manhattan Beach has launched an app for the upcoming L.A. Marathon. The Fitbit-connected app is available on iOS and Android, and features a GPS map, that helps runners and spectators navigate the marathon course.

Spark Networks: Santa Monica’s Spark Networks has redesigned its dating site ChristianMingle.com. The new site has easier-to-use functionality and new mobile-optimized features.
