Ticketmaster, a division of Live Nation Entertainment, has acquired mobile ticketing platform Eventjoy.

Terms of the acqusition were not disclosed.

The startup, backed by Mountain View accelerator Y Combinator, will continue its operations in Menlo Park.

Whether for conferences or concerts, Eventjoy’s Do-It-Yourself platform helps event organizers process ticketing, push real-time notifications and engage customers through social marketing. Attendees can use the mobile app to access venue maps and event schedules.

“The DIY space is one where we think Eventjoy’s leading mobile-first solution can be combined with the scale of our platform and distribution capabilities to deliver fans the best proposition in the market,” said Michael Rapino, Live Nation’s president and chief executive, in a statement.

This is Ticketmaster’s second acquisition of the week. The ticket distribution company, headquartered in West Hollywood, bought Belgian ticketing company Sherpa.be as part of its European expansion.
