Playboy Latino to Launch in December

Playboy Enterprises of Beverly Hills announced on Monday it has reached a deal with a Los Angeles publishing house to produce Playboy Latino, a bimonthly magazine that will be written primarily in Spanish.

Playboy is licensing its name to Arbol Publishing, a downtown Los Angeles company that produces a number of magazines for the Hispanic market, including Automundo.

The first Playboy Latino edition will be available in December. Playboy already has about two dozen foreign editions.

“We look forward to a successful partnership with Arbol Publishing as we continue to expand the Playboy brand to a new group of consumers,” said Tom Flores, senior vice president and general manager of publishing operations at Playboy.
