BizFed Endorses Dunn for Long Beach Mayor

The Los Angeles County Business Federation on Monday announced its endorsement of businessman Damon Dunn for Long Beach mayor.

Dunn, a real estate investor and longtime ally of the Long Beach Area Chamber of Commerce, is in a runoff election against City Councilman Robert Garcia. The election is on June 3.

“Damon has the critical skills needed to successfully lead one of Los Angeles County’s largest and most vital cities,” said Laura Olhasso, chairwoman of the business federation’s political action committee.

The Los Angeles County Business Federation, or BizFed, includes more than 120 member chambers of commerce and trade associations representing 268,000 employers in Los Angeles County.
