Checked In: One Medical Group, a San Francisco primary care network, has opened an office in Beverly Hills to serve the L.A.-area market. The new outpost is at 9735 Wilshire Blvd.


Instructive Move: Engrade Inc., a Santa Monica developer of a digital platform that school districts can use to guide and track educational progress, has been acquired by McGraw-Hill Education, a New York-based digital learning company. McGraw-Hill will maintain Engrade’s office in Santa Monica. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.


Now They’re Cooking: Aurora Resurgence, an affiliate of Westwood private equity firm Aurora Capital Group, has acquired Paris-based Arc International Cookware and its subsidiaries, Arc International Cookware Spain & Portugal, Arc International Cookware and Arc International Cookware Ltd. from Arc International Group. The entities will be renamed International Cookware. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Building Up: Gores Group, a Westswood investment firm, has agreed to acquire Melle Dachbaustoffe and SIG Deutsche Dachbaustoffe from SIG, a Sheffield, England-based distributor of building products. Both companies are distributors of roofing products to the German market. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.


Apartments Purchased: A family trust has purchased a West Hollywood multifamily building for $5.2 million from a private investor. The 20-unit, two-story apartment building, at 1361 N. Laurel Ave., has one studio, nine one-bedroom, and 10 two-bedroom units.



In Production: Cast & Crew Entertainment Services, a Burbank provider of payroll services for the entertainment industry, has opened a division to provide production incentive financing and administration services for movie and TV projects. The new unit, Cast & Crew Financial Services, is also headquartered in Burbank. PASADENA

On Board: Tetra Tech Inc., a Pasadena engineering services company, has been awarded a five-year, $60 million contract from the Coast Guard. Tetra Tech will provide environmental services to the Coast Guard on- and offshore facilities in the United States and its territories.



Packed Up: Pelican Products Inc., a Torrance maker of protective cases and portable lighting, has acquired Cool Logisitics, a Bedfordshire, England-headquartered company that specializes in temperature-controlled packaging for the health care industry. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Cool Logistics will be combined with previously acquired Minnesota Thermal Science of Plymouth under the Pelican BioPharma division.
