Moved In: APC Postal Logistics, an East Rutherford, N.J.-based international parcel and mail delivery company, has opened a West Coast facility in Bell. The new sales and warehousing facility, at 5634 Bandini Blvd., is in a commercial hub near Los Angeles International Airport.



Credit Cards: Card.com, a prepaid debit card startup in Brentwood, has raised $3 million in series A funding to expand its service into credit cards. The round was led by QED Investors, a private fund of Capital One co-founder Nigel Morris. Participating investors included Anthem Ventures in Santa Monica and Resolute VC in Boston. The investment brings Card’s total funding to $4.7 million.


Medical Merger: Broad Medical Research Program, a Westwood-based program that funds research into inflammatory bowel disease, will merge with non-profit Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America, also in Westwood. Broad Medical Research Program was started by the Eli and Edythe Broad Foundation in 2001 and has awarded more than $43 million to encourage research into the cause, treatment and cure of inflammatory bowel disease.


Venture Round: PaeDae, a Santa Monica-based mobile rewards network, has closed an $11.6 million venture round of equity and debt, with participation from more than 20 strategic and angel investors. Proceeds from the round will accelerate the company’s expansion from a rewards network to an advertising and monetization platform for brands and mobile app developers.



Mixed-Use Acquisition: Trion Properties, a Miracle Mile private equity investment company, has acquired the Valencia Town Center Plaza for $6.9 million from Valencia Center Plaza. The 26,186-square-foot, two-story medical office and retail property, at 24510 Town Center

Drive, was built in 1998 and has 332

parking spaces.



Web Sale: ValueClick Inc., a Westlake Village online ad company, has agreed to sell all of its websites to New York digital media company IAC/Interactive Corp. Sites to be sold include the Investopedia financial and PriceRunner price comparison sites. ValueClick had previously announced its plant to sell the website division and concentrate on its affiliate marketing operation that places ads on third-party sites.



New HQ: Ideal Legal Group Inc., a law firm, has moved its headquarters to a newly built office space in Alhambra. Ideal Legal’s new address is 2880 W. Valley Blvd. The firm also has offices in San Francisco and New York.
