LAC Group, a Los Angeles company specializing in global information management and professional services recruitment, on Tuesday announced a merger with Chase Cost Management, a New York services firm.

Both firms will retain their names, and Chase Cost will become a division of LAC. The companies combined had $25 million in revenue last year.

LAC, a woman-owned business formed in 1986, has clients that include NASA, BP, and the Library of Congress. Chase Cost, founded in 1998, advises major law firms on how to reduce vendor and other expenses.

“This merger yields the advanced quality of managed services our clients need,” said Chief Executive Deborah Schwarz in a statement. “We can now tap (Chase Cost’s) benchmark studies and contract negotiation skills in further reducing client costs.”
