Fleetwood-Fibre Packaging & Graphics has entered into an agreement to acquire all assets of Impact Manufacturing in Corona for an undisclosed amount.

City of Industry-based Fleetwood-Fibre said the acquisition of Impact, which specializes in clamshell containers and other printed packaging for retail products, expands both its product line and global footprint, since Impact has operations in Asia,

“These are volatile times in our industry and our customers need to be able to rely on their supplier to develop the most cost-effective solution, either domestically or globally, as well as managing a more complex supply chain,” Brad Jordan, vice president of sales and marketing, said in a statement.

The two companies had a prior working relationship before the deal, which should make integration go smoothly, said Impact Chief Executive Mark White.

“Fleetwood-Fibre’s forward thinking culture is a great fit for us and what Impact’s customers are looking for in a supplier,” White said in a statement. “Their strong domestic production capability allows us to compliment business we run in Asia and changes the game in terms of turnkey programs for global brands.”
