Tutor Perini Corp. has completed the acquisition of Fisk Electric Co., a privately held electrical construction company, in a deal valued at more than $100 million.

The Sylmar construction and engineering company said late Monday that the final terms of the deal call for it to pay $105 million in cash plus an amount to be determined based upon Fisk’s 2011-2013 operating results. The company will operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tutor Perini and be run by Fisk’s existing senior management team.

Houston-based Fisk serves major commercial and industrial electrical construction markets in the southwestern and southeastern United States. It had fiscal 2010 revenue of about $305 million and a backlog of orders valued at $190 million.

The deal “expands our nationwide electrical construction capabilities,” said Chief Execuitive Ronald Tutor in a statement. “We expect to realize significant synergies and opportunities in support of our non-residential building and civil operations.”

Shares of Tutor Perini closed up 37 cents, or 1.7 percent, to $21.78 before the announcement.
