Firm: Proskauer Rose LLP

Law School: University of Chicago

Selected Clients: Paramount Pictures Corp., Creative Artists Agency, JPMorgan Chase, Spectrum Athletic Clubs, Ascent Media Group, National Basketball Association, National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, New York Times Co.

Years in Practice: 26

Recent Highlight: Meeting a large group of Chinese lawyers, professors and Communist Party officials about American employment law principles during a conference in Nanjing, China. We were the first American lawyers invited to China to discuss such issues.

Longest Workday: A 24-hour, nonstop negotiation in New York over a severance arrangement with an employee who was reluctant to give up her employment – and the tortured relationship she had with her married boss.

How My Practice Is Changing: With the increased regulation of the workplace on both the federal and state levels, we’ve seen a dramatic rise in the amount of concern about employment issues among our clients.

If I Weren’t an Attorney: I’d be a Buenos Aires dog-walker.

My Colleagues Don’t Know: I was quite an accomplished accordion player in elementary school, which helped me build up the muscles in my right arm.
