Parsons to Manage Federal Building Retrofits

The General Services Administration has selected Parsons to provide construction management services for 10 sustainable energy projects at 23 federal buildings in the Washington, D.C. area.

The Pasadena engineering company announced the contract on Thursday. Construction management services will include installation of high-performance roofing systems, solar-energy projects, high-efficiency equipment and lighting upgrades, and installation of control systems.

The program is funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. The contracts’ total value was not disclosed.
