Protiviti Inc., a Menlo Park-based consulting firm, has promoted Tony Dennler to senior manager, Michael Kim to manager and Brad Webre to associate director in the firm’s downtown L.A. office. Previously, Dennler was manager; Kim was senior consultant; and Webre was senior manager.


Graziadio School of Business and Management at Pepperdine University has named Mark W.S. Chun director of its West L.A. Center for Applied Research. Chun is an associate professor of information systems at the Graziadio School


Inferno Entertainment, a Century City-based production company, has named Jeffrey Edell chief executive. Previously, Edell was chief operating officer at DIC Entertainment, a producer of children’s entertainment.

Method Studios, a Santa Monica-based visual effects firm, has named Patrick Davenport vice president of operations. Previously, Davenport was an executive producer at Image Metrics, a Santa Monica firm that designs facial animation software for the entertainment industry.


Judy Mitchell has been named to the South Coast Air Quality Management District’s governing board, a Diamond Bar-based state government agency. Mitchell is a Rolling Hills Estates councilwoman.


Miller Barondess LLP, a Century City law firm, has named Dan Miller partner. Previously, Miller was an associate at the firm.

Tricia L. Legittino has been promoted to partner in the downtown L.A. office of law firm Frandzel Robins Bloom & Csato LC. Previously, Legittino was a senior associate at the firm.
