Bubbling Up: Reed’s Inc., a downtown L.A. beverage maker, has formed a partnership with Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market to distribute its Reed’s and Virgil’s product lines. The El Segundo-based market chain operates 159 stores throughout California, Arizona and Nevada.
By Design: Lehrer Architects LA, a Silver Lake design firm, has formed a complementary services partnership with Westlake Reed Leskosky, a Cleveland-based design firm. The alliance formalizes a working relationship between the firms’ principals Michael B. Lehrer and Paul E. Westlake.
Channeling Funds: Si TV, a Glassel Park television network, has announced that it raised $24 million in a combination of equity and debt financing transactions. The funds will support growth initiatives, including the creation and acquisition of programming.
Rebranded: Hollywood-based Play Editorial, a TV marketing services firm, has renamed itself Play, and restructured into four divisions to showcase its customer services. The four divisions are Play/Creative, Play/Editorial, Play/Motion and Play/Sound.
Sleep Deal: West L.A.’s Advanced Sleep Medicine Services Inc., a provider of sleep disorder diagnostics and related medical equipment, has been acquired by New York private equity firm High Road Capital Partners. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Tech Investment: Nogales Investors, a West Hollywood private equity firm, has made a $4.5 million follow-on investment in its portfolio company, DR Technologies. DR Technologies makes products for use in commercial, military and scientific satellites, and next-generation space systems.
Expanding Reach: Burbank health care publisher Payers & Providers Publishing LLC has formed a partnership with MCOL Inc., a Modesto health care publisher. The arrangement calls for MCOL to take Payers & Providers, a weekly health care business news publication, into new markets.

Western Outpost: Rose Paving Co., a Bridgeview, Ill.-based parking lot maintenance firm, has opened an office in Pomona. The new branch is at 1554 W. Holt Ave.
Making Rounds: Monterey Park Hospital has signed a service agreement with Apollo Holdings Inc., a Glendale-based provider of hospitalist services. Apollo will provide advisory services and inpatient care at the 100-bed facility.
