CO Architects, an L.A. firm specializing in medical school and research laboratory design, has named Kent Brown director of science and technology. Previously, Brown was a principal at Kent Brown & Associates LLC, a Carrollton, Ga., architectural services firm.

Heery International, an Atlanta-based architecture and construction services firm, has promoted Edwin Gam and Joseph Varda to associates at its L.A. office. Gam will retain his title of construction manager; Varda will retain his title as senior construction manager/administrator at the firm.

The Southern California Institute of Architecture has named Jerry B. Neuman as chairman. Neuman is real estate and land-use partner at Sheppard Mullin Richter &

Hampton LLP, a downtown L.A.-based

law firm.

Hallmark Channels, a Studio City-based operator of cable TV channels, has named Whitney Holland vice president of acquisitions. Previously, Holland was vice president of program planning, scheduling and acquisitions at Bravo, a New York-based cable TV channel.

Molina Healthcare of California, a Long Beach-based managed care organization, has named Dr. James E. Cruz medical director for California. Previously, Cruz was vice president of health services Arcadian Management Services, an Oakland-based health care services company.

Loeb & Loeb LLP, a Century City-based law firm, has named Ryan Austin associate and Chris Campbell partner in its Century City office. Previously, Austin was associate and Campbell was counsel at O’Melveny & Myers LLP, a downtown L.A.-based law firm.

Michael Patton has been named partner at the Century City office of DLA Piper, a Chicago-based law firm. Previously, Patton was principal at Ernst & Young LLP, a London-based accounting services firm.

Haight Brown & Bonesteel LLP, an L.A.-based law firm, has named Thomas Vincent Consolo associate in its L.A. office. Previously, Consolo was an associate at Crandall Wade & Lowe, a Calabasas-based law firm.

Alston & Bird LLP, an Atlanta-based law firm, has named Marsha Mullin counsel in its downtown L.A. office. Previously, Mullin was counsel at Jones Day, a Cleveland-based law firm.

The Los Angeles County Bar Association has named David C. Eisman chairman of its business and corporations law executive committee. Eisman is partner in the downtown L.A. office of Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom LLP, a New York-based law firm.

Vista Del Mar Child and Family Services, a Cheviot Hills non-profit care facility for at-risk children, has named Michael Dates to its board. Dates is an executive at the Beverly Hills office of talent agency William Morris Endeavor.

The Los Angeles County Museum of Art has named Brooke Davis Anderson deputy director for curatorial planning. Previously, Anderson was director and curator of the Contemporary Center and Henry Darger Study Center of the American Folk Art Museum in New York.

Court Appointed Special Advocates of Los Angeles, a Monterey Park non-profit advocacy group specializing in abused and neglected children, has named Dilys Tosteson Garcia executive director. Previously, Garcia was chief executive at La Agencia de Orsi & Asociados, a Brentwood advertising and marketing agency.

Harmony Project, a Hollywood non-profit that provides music lessons to at-risk children, has named Lisa Baca-Sigala to its board of directors. Baca-Sigala is a principal at Baca Sigala & Associates, an Echo Park public relations firm.

Rodeo Realty Inc., a Bel Air-based residential real estate services firm, has named Jason Katzman office manager at the Woodland Hills branch. Previously, Katzman was a broker at Prudential California Realty, Pleasanton.

HauteLook, a downtown L.A.-based online retailer, has named Tim Davis director of men’s merchandising, Vicky Kalish director of food and wine, and Arthur Lewis general merchandising manager. Previously, Davis was a buyer at Neiman Marcus Group Inc., a Dallas-based retail chain; Kalish was director of special markets at Octopus Publishing Group, a London-based book publisher; and Lewis was senior vice president of adult merchandising at Gap Inc./Old Navy, a San Francisco-based operator of apparel chains.

TECHNOLOGY

The Southern California chapter of 7x24 Exchange International, a data center organization for information infrastructures, has named Michael Siteman president. Siteman is executive vice president at Jones Lang LaSalle Americas Inc., a Chicago-based real estate services firm.
